Checkers - a free classic board game vs. AI
Checkers is a free browser version of the classic jump-capture board game, played against a computer opponent on a standard 8x8 board. Just open this page and play, nothing to download or sign up for.
How to Play
- Click one of your red discs to select it; legal moves highlight on the board.
- Click a highlighted square to move there.
- If a jump is available, you must take it - a diagonal hop over an adjacent black disc that captures it.
- Chain multiple jumps with the same disc when another capture opens up.
- Reach the far row to crown a disc as a king, which can then move and capture in any diagonal direction.
- Win by capturing every black disc or leaving the AI with no legal move.
